Meal Planner or Recipe Book?
These two get mixed up the most. The Recipe Book is about the recipes: a photo card for each one, servings you can change and a grocery list that fills in from the week you plan. The Weekly Meal Planner is about the plan: meals for each day with their calories and protein, and a shopping list that buys enough for everyone. If you count macros, pick the Meal Planner. If you collect family recipes, pick the Recipe Book.
The Cleaning Schedule is the one you open every day. Each job sets its own next date when you click Done, a chore chart shows who did what, and kids can earn points.
The Moving Planner and the Home Renovation Planner are for projects with an end date. Set them up when the move or the remodel starts, and they hold the checklist, the costs and the quotes until it’s done. The Wardrobe Planner and the Wishlist are personal: one for what you wear, the other for what you’d like and what you give.
Questions
Can the rest of the family use it?
Yes. Share the page with them as guests in Notion (the free plan allows up to 10), and each person can tick off their own chores. The Wishlist also gives family a view-only link to your list.
Does anything fill in from a website?
No. You type recipes, prices and nutrition in yourself, once. After that the totals, shopping lists and budgets add up on their own.
Will it remind me about chores?
Not with a phone alert. The Cleaning Schedule’s Today view shows what’s due when you open it, and the moving checklist is sorted by week, so what’s left is easy to see.
Will these run on Notion’s free plan?
Yes, every one of the seven, sharing included.
